GERALD SCHMITE

After having distinguished themselves individually as creatives in world renowned french agencies such as BETC, DDB, YOUNG & RUBICAM and PUBLICIS CONSEIL, Nicolas and Gerald met each other in 2011. They immediatly shared the same vision of advertising in the digital age, with the same strong will to constantly invent new ways for brands to tell stories.

Driven by Olivier Altmann, former worldwide chief creative officer of Publicis, they then became Creative Directors on the BNP PARIBAS account and created the « SCHMITT-AND-SCHMITE » team to lead the work on many international pitches. They both actively participated in the development of Publicis and won about twelve new accounts with their 360-degree campaigns.

In 2017, they were recruited by the french independant ad agency LES GROS MOTS and won several international accounts as creative directors, and numerous Gold, silver and bronze awards for their work (EPICA Awards, New York Festival awards, The Andy awards, Grand Prix Stratégies of Brand Content, Grand Prix Stratégies of Design, Grand Prix Top Com, Prix Effie, SHOTS Awards…)

Believing in the world-bettering power of creativity in responsible advertising, they were also deeply involved in the communication of many social or environnemental causes such as the humanitarian organization FXB international (awarded at the Grand Prix for Communication in Solidarity and ACT RESPONSIBLE tributes).

In 2020, Nicolas Schmitt is launching YELLOWBLUE, a new kind of creative agency specialized in green communication and goodvertising.
